No bathroom or guest toilet should be without a urinal. And that's not just because men prefer to do their business standing up. Urinals consume only two litres of precious water per flush, and some use just one litre. Standard toilets use between six and nine litres of water per flush. This way, you'll save plenty of water with a urinal.
Our Manufacturers
We offer urinals from all top brands. Models from Villeroy & Boch, Geberit (formerly Keramag), Ideal Standard, Laufen and Duravit are highly popular, particularly when they come from the manufacturer's top series, such as Subway, Renova Nr.1, Connect or Starck.
You'll also find high-quality urinals from lesser known brands such as Globo, VitrA and Scarabeo. Grohe, the global market leader for fittings, has recently added urinals to its range.
Urinal Designs
Urinals need to be shaped in such a way as to prevent as much spray as possible. Designers are limited when it comes to the shape of these bowls. Nevertheless, they have developed a number of models in a range of appealing designs. Models exist in a minimalist design as well as retro and luxurious designs.
Standing or wall-mounted?
Urinals are usually wall-mounted, however standing urinals are also available. If a wall-mounted urinal is to be integrated into a in-wall-installation, it will need special mounting elements. These include semi-recessed urinals which offer space-saving benefits since they are partially incorporated into the wall. These are an elegant solution in guest toilets where space is often more limited.
As with toilets, urinals are usually made from sanitary ceramic. This material is easy to clean and is virtually indestructible. Even the strongest urine can cause no harm when not even concentrated hydrochloric acid damages the ceramic. There is therefore no need to use other materials. Seldom found are urinals made from stainless steel or acrylic. These are usually only found in public toilets.
