Water-saving showers
You'll find a whole host of water-saving hand showers in our store. Hansgrohe for example offers EcoSmart whereas Grohe sells EcoJoy.
There are several other ways to reduce the water consumption of showers:
these include flow rate limiters , although the shower jet can become too weak and reduce the showering pleasure.
Other options are particularly fine nozzles. The water passes through in thinner drops, like a spray from the shower head.
The third water-saving method is by adding air. The drops are just as voluminous but feel softer.
You can even half your costs by opting for a water-saving hand shower. You not only require less water, but also less hot water needs to be heated ready for use.
The Design
The design of hand showers differs greatly between staff-shaped showers and disc-shaped showers , whereby the disc can be round or square-shaped.
The thin staff-shaped hand showers are extremely popular in designer bathrooms. Bestsellers include the Axor Starck Jet hand shower and the Grohe Euphoria Cube+. The disadvantage: they generally come with only one spray mode; only Axor offer versions with two spray modes.
Anyone looking to enjoy a rain shower or massage jet should consider a disc-shaped shower. They are more voluminous in their design but offer more features.
