Bette is a traditional German family business that was founded in Delbrück in 1952. The focus of the range is on baths made of steel enamel, but shower trays or washbasins made of the same material are also available.
The manufacturer calls the material glazed titanium steel. The glaze is said to be harder than marble, plastic or steel. It is also scratch-resistant, non-porous and UV-resistant. This is achieved not only by using special materials, but also thanks to special manufacturing techniques. The glaze is fired onto the steel in two firing cycles so that they are permanently bonded to each other.
Bette: Made in Germany
The traditional company manufactures its products exclusively at its headquarters in Delbrück, Westphalia - made in Germany is still very important here. Both handcrafted and highly technical methods are used. Only with the most modern production technology is it possible to achieve the (according to Bette) approximately 35 million different combinations of sizes, colours and models.
As already mentioned, steel enamel is extremely robust and durable. Furthermore, design plays a major role at Bette. New manufacturing processes make unusual creations possible time and again. The company regularly collaborates with renowned designers such as Dominik Tesseraux.
The environment is very important to Bette - all baths, shower trays and washbasins are 100 percent recyclable. This is complemented by environmentally friendly manufacturing. Together with the durability of the products, this results in a great eco-balance. If you value sustainable bathroom furnishings, you've come to the right place.
