LEDVANCE is a young company that has only been in existence for a few years. However, it has a long history, having emerged from the long-established manufacturer OSRAM. About 1/3 of the workforce moved to the new manufacturer in 2016, so there is a lot of know-how in the company. Around 8,000 employees generate a turnover of almost two billion euros.
LEDVANCE bundles everything that has to do with the private customer business in terms of lamps and luminaires. The products include LED lamps, but also luminaires for indoors and outdoors. The company has a special focus on smart homes and intelligent living. Smart+ is the name of the system with which you can network your luminaires and lamps. Control is completely wireless and via Wi-Fi on a ZigBee basis.
