About Licht im Raum
Lighting design, design lamps and a store in Düsseldorf - that's Licht im Raum. The manufacturer has been producing high-quality design luminaires for more than 60 years, using classic handicraft and traditional production methods.
The company was founded in 1956 by Johannes and Lisa Dinnebier. That was at a time when light had to be one thing above all: bright. The young entrepreneurs took a different approach right from the start. For them, light was primarily a design tool in architecture. Power and amperage came later. This maxim still applies to the Licht im Raum lamps.
The luminaire manufactory drew attention to itself early on. In 1965, for example, it was responsible for the lighting of the German pavilion at the World Exhibition in Brussels. Even before that, the company was the first German sales partner of the high-end Italian brands Flos and Artemide.
Award-winning luminaire series
Worth mentioning is the cooperation with the exclusive porcelain manufactory Fürstenberg. The luminaires from the "White Moons" series, for example, have wonderful porcelain luminaire heads. Here at Reuter, they are available as pendant lights or wall lights.
Another highlight from the light collection by Licht im Raum is certainly the "Stilio" series. With their combination of stainless steel and glass, the pendant lights or wall lights are real eye-catchers and an enrichment for every room.
