The company lumexx was founded in 1999 - it is made up of the two terms "lumen" and "lux" - both important terms in lighting technology. The origins of the company lie in Denmark, as the company's founder Thomas Vogelsang initially marketed Danish luminaires, among other things. The Danes had developed a track to which lights could be attached without tools, only with the help of a magnetic adapter - this developed into the lumexx system.
The lumexx track system is called "Magnetline". Numerous luminaires in different designs are available for this system. For example, pendant lights, but also spotlights and floodlights.
The company also has "normal" lights in its range - i.e. lamps that can be installed without a magnetic track. Look forward to contemporary, innovative and technically sophisticated lamps where the focus is not on the look of the luminaire but on the light it emits into the room.
