About Vola
Craftsmanship instead of mass production - this is the best way to describe the manufacturing process of the Danish company Vola. According to the company, each end product is specially produced after receipt of the order. This craftsmanship started in 1961, when the designer Arne Jacobsen and the company owner Verner Overgaard met.
Result of the cooperation: a design for a wall-mounted fitting whose mechanical parts are completely concealed behind the wall, but whose design is nevertheless impressive. A completely new approach for the time and the birth of the minimalist and classic design that still characterises Danish products today.
Just how progressive and far-sighted Arne Jacobsen was back in the 1960s is demonstrated by another fitting, a variation of which is still in the range today: in 1968, the HV1 fitting was created, which even then satisfied the still unknown concept of sustainability. It was of course in the typical design and made of the best materials, which promised a corresponding longevity. Vola continues to build on these principles as a global brand today.
A fitting from the Danish supplier Vola is immediately identifiable as such thanks to its unique, consistently minimalist design. These products also meet the highest standards in terms of manufacturing quality, technology, function and handling, for example a Vola bath fitting, a bidet fitting or a waste valve.
The company manufactures fittings and accessories that are aesthetic, timeless, original and individual. The focus is on safe function and the best design. The company consistently focuses on technical innovation and uses only highly selected materials for its range of fittings. Today, the manufacturer with its headquarters in Denmark offers its products for kitchen and bathroom furnishings in more than 25 countries.
