Wall Luminaires and Their Tasks
In modern homes, wall luminaires are used in a variety of ways, mostly to support general lighting.
That is, unlike the ceiling light the wall light rarely illuminates a room all alone - unless they are very small rooms, like the guest toilet. Or narrow rooms, such as the hallway or the staircase, where several wall luminaires are usually mounted in a row.
The second task of the wall luminaire is to provide suitable light in certain areas. This can be the beautiful reading light in the reading corner or good mirror lighting in the bathroom. As bedside lamps, wall luminaires also have many fans because, in contrast to table lamps, they are mounted in a pleasantly space-saving way, leaving room for other things by the bed.
A third typical task of the wall light is mood lighting, which creates a beautiful ambience in the evening. First choice for this are luminaires with indirect lighting, which shines softly and unobtrusively and is distributed subtly throughout the room.
